My mom loved her gorditas & I got my eggs in salsa with potatoes. We plan to return to taste the rest of the menu! Perfect for a home style breakfast.

I ordered three tacos, my usual amount, but these were bigger than the usual ones. The server warned me :) She said the potato and egg has two eggs! Delicious food and very relaxed atmosphere. We were visiting from San Antonio and found this café near our hotel. Great find.

The food was delicious, but they take a while to bring everyone's food. Some of us were almost done by the time the last person got their plate.

First time here and it absolutely did not disappoint! My husband ordered three gorditas with different fillings, and each one was packed with flavor and perfectly cooked. I went with the chilaquiles especiales, and they were delicious — just the right balance of sauce, toppings, and comfort in every bite. The coffee was freshly brewed (which always makes a difference), and the whole experience felt warm and welcoming. We’ll definitely be back to try the breakfast tacos next time!

First time getting food here, I was looking for tamales to take to my parents, grabbed 2 dozen of pork and one of chicken and it was delicious. Definitely going back soon. Sorry no pictures taken.

Rodriguez Tortilleria & Cafe is one of those true hidden gems, a classic hole-in-the-wall spot where the food absolutely hits every time. The guisados are delicious, full of flavor, and everything on the menu tastes homemade and authentic. I ordered the gorditas, and the masa was perfect, soft, fresh, and cooked just right. You can tell they know what they’re doing. The service could use a little improvement, but honestly, that’s probably because the place stays busy, especially on weekends. That alone tells you the food is worth it. If you’re looking for great, authentic Mexican food with that cozy rancho-style feel, this is definitely a spot you’ll want to check out.
